MinistryCOM, Cultivate, and MediaSalt

When I look at the picture above, and see Eric and I in the middle of folks who have inspired us over the years, that one Sesame Street song starts going through my head.  If you know it, sing along.

One of these things is not like the others,
One of these things just doesn’t belong,
Can you tell which thing is not like the others
By the time I finish my song?

The MediaSalt guys, Eric and your’s truly, are excited about two conferences coming up this September and October.

We’ve been asked to lead a breakout at MinistryCOM, and facilitate discussion at Cultivate.  These are fun times in the MediaSalt camp.  We are very humbled to be a part of these conferences and to serve along side of folks we consider “big dogs” in ministry communication.

More information and details will be posted soon, but here’s an overview of each conference, as quoted from each website.

MinistryCOM - Sept. 10-11, 2009

MinistryCOM is the one place where you will gain quality training from skilled experts while learning that you’re not alone. You’ll form networks with infinite potential, providing encouragement and resources throughout the year.

Cultivate is about bringing you together with the skilled, the experienced, and the insightful, and together you will drive the content. Together you will discover breakthrough insights.

Cultivate is about organized conversations, and each conversation will be designed to nurture collaboration without confining the experience to a box. Expect to be stretched. Expect to be challenged. Expect to culivate a new way of thinking.

If you are creative, strategic, and responsible for influencing how your church communicates, there is a chair waiting for you.

Come and join us. We’re really looking forward to meeting and collaborating with other ministry leaders, and impacting the Kingdom together.

Who all is going to either of these conferences?
