Here are several tools that I’ve either checked out for the first time, or have really come in handy this week. What tools are you impressed with lately?
1. Formspring

Awesome form tool. I like Wufoo a lot, but Formspring has additional features that make life so easy. One of which is conditional logic. You can show certain fields based on other options being selected. You can also route the form results to certain email addresses based on options folks select on the form. This worked like a champ on a serving system I’m working on for The Chapel. The best part is I can train anyone to update it, and they don’t have to have programming or html knowledge. The forms embed seamlessly into your website.
2. Dropbox
Visit: https://www.dropbox.com
For freelance and church-use alike. A great web-based hard drive for you to share files with others, or have a central place to keep files. Best part yet, it’s free up to 2 gb. Here are some additional features from the website:
- Never e-mail yourself a file again
- Automatically backup your files online
- Keep files synced between computers
- Share files easily with others
3. Posterous

I’ve seen a lot of people starting to use this tool lately. I actually checked into it for an easy place for our HR team to upload audio and documents from our all-staff meetings. We can even password the site. So far so good. Folks of all skill levels and backgrounds can admin this. Very simple.
4. Campaign Monitor

I’ve been drinking this coolaid for a while now, but it’s a great email tool, and easy to build custom templates. Once templates are created, you can delegate the email sending to someone else. It’s super easy to use. The WYSIWYG is sharp. It’s more pricey than Constact Contact, but so much more up to date and less clunky.

It‘s quiet in here! Why not leave a response?
