Facebook Easter Ad Follow-up

As many of you know, last month I began an experiment to see how far a few hundred bucks could go through Facebook ads vs. one of our traditional promotional campaigns. So what’s the verdict?

Facebook ads were a huge win for us. Just a few hundred dollars got us 2,254,911(!) impressions and 500 clicks (which we were paying for in this campaign). This translated into a healthy uptick in traffic to our website and a lot of new folks from the area that just happened to see our ad while they were poking around online. It’s something we’ll definitely be trying again in the future.

Did any of you experiment with some online campaigns this year? Let us know about your successes and epic failures in the comments below.

Hey, I was thinking whether or not to try a Facebook ad campaign. May give it more thought now. Thanks!

At Henderson Hills, we’ve used Facebook and Google ads for a few years to promote our Easter services and have had fantastic results that rival advertising on local news websites.

One of the things so great about Facebook ads is that you can really dial in who sees your ads which, in return, generates better leads (forgive the marketing speak).

We had been talking about a FB ad for awhile and your earlier post gave the push we needed. We paid $200 for 10 days. Over 800,000 impressions and almost 200 clicks. For a (relatively) low cost we felt that it really was worth it. We definitely plan to do it again.

I recently spent $250 for a one-week campaign that generated 2,019,949 impressions, 300 clicks, and gained about 150-200 more fans on the FaceBook fanpage. Not bad.
