I’m a big fan of stop motion video. Even if you’re not sure what that is, you’ve seen it on TV. It’s very popular these days, and sort of like the old claymation stuff — frame-by-frame.

The summer sermon series we’re doing at The Chapel is called Mount Sinai. We thought it would be the perfect series to try out stop motion for the videos and intro video (bumper). It was fun picking out all the different fabrics that make up each texture of the video.

Have any of you tried stop motion? What are your thoughts? Do you have any examples to share?

Here’s a very un-polished example of where we’re headed so far. I am blown away by our video folks and graphic designers. I knew they’d do a great job, but so far the progress has far-exceeded my expectations.
