On ministry budgets, we all want to get the most bang for our buck. Here are a few printers that I’ve had great experiences with across the country.
1. Large quantity rave cards, postcards, flyers
For large scale promotions, I commonly go the easy route by ordering online.
2. Quality vinyl banners and yard signs
A.G.E. Graphics has been very good to us with quick turn around on large format items.
3. Bulk t-shirt printing as low as $1.45 each
When working with a church plant a few years ago, we decided to canvas neighborhoods with t-shirts instead of postcards or doorhangers – and even did it for about the same cost! We were able to get a great deal with BargainTees.com.
4. Don’t underestimate your local printers.
At The Chapel we have an amazing relationship with James W. Smith Printing Company in Gurnee, Ill. The owner is a attender of The Chapel who supports us.
Another great relationship we have is with our local Sign-a-Rama. Talk about great pricing! We just launched a new campus and furnished all the permanent signage we needed for the inside of the building for less than $2000.
For a long time I thought local printers over priced and under delivered. These two companies have proved me wrong. Not only do we have a great relationship, they are faster than most of the above solutions and just as economical. I encourage building relationships with local vendors and pushing for the best pricing you can get.
Where do you print inexpensively?

I stumbled across gotprint.com a few years back and have used them for many things. Their prices are far better than any other I’ve found for most everything, especially postcard sized promotional literature. The quality is also superb, I might add.
Just over $100 for 2 sided 4 color 4×6 cards with high uv gloss on both sides (optional). Now, that’s awesome!
We use a local business for most of our banner and signage printing and production. stampededigital.com . They give us excellent prices that nobody is able to match.
Just thought I’d share. Thanks for the article! God bless
Hey, where can I find information on the type of signs featured in the above photo? We desperately need directional signs in our church. Help!
Hi Nick,
That particular sign was printed by one of our local Sign-A-Rama stores. It’s a PVC (something like 1/4 or 1/2 inch thick) with vinyl graphics. It cost somewhere between $100 and $200 (for a 60″x9″).
I hope this helps. Most of our other directional/informational signage in the building is made like this one in different sizes.
Best place to use if you create your own file is gotprint.com. Order 500 Business cards for $9 or 1000 Business Cards for $11. Great quality prints and the best prices I have found online.
