Free childcare is provided.

Dear church family,

I hope you’ve sensed that we’ve been gaining momentum at our campus. During the month of January, we averaged just less than 3,000 people in weekend attendance; that’s up several hundred from the previous months. Our student and children’s ministry areas are in the healthiest place I’ve seen and are gaining speed. We’ve recently added a number of folks in part-time roles who will support small group leaders more strongly than we’ve ever done before. Every week, I see new people who are excited about what God is doing in their lives through the ministry of The Chapel. More and more people are finding their calling in serving, and God is continuing to throw open doors for us to serve people outside our church as well.

Based on how we’ve seen God work in Scripture and in our own history, I believe that God is preparing us for something — some kind of next step for us as a church family; something beyond our present level of impact; something beyond what we would come up with on our own; something that might even frighten us if we knew all the details right now.

I don’t think it’s an accident that we are in a series entitled (super)natural. God is giving us this opportunity to grow in our God-centeredness. We’re going to need that to follow God into the future he has for us. I hope this has been a good journey for you as we’ve processed what it means to live for God the way he lives for us.

For the Kingdom,

Brent
